About Me
I like to consider myself a light switch. When I feel or love something, I feel and love it with every inch of my body and everything else fades away. When I don't, well, you couldn't make me care less. There is no middle ground.
For me, being consumed so strongly by the things I love led to a lonely childhood. After all, who wants to be friends with someone who can't put their most recent interest away long enough to have a conversation? I grew up feeling like I didn't "belong" anywhere...
Until I found the theatre at age 6. I discovered quickly that musicals could perfectly channel my intense emotions and light-switch personality. Spending hours on end deep-diving into the mind of fictional characters, learning and practicing lines, music, and choreography was right up my alley, while performing in front of crowds of people and hearing their applause gave me the attention I craved. I knew that this was where my future lied.
Over the course of my young life, my love of musical theatre has expanded to many different performance areas including plays, choir, dance, songwriting, guitar, and even fronting an 80s metal cover band for a short time. With everything I do, I am to share stories in performance through the lens of joy, belonging, and purpose, which it has brought to my own life, and I hope to inspire these qualities in others who might need them like I did.
When I'm not performing, you can find me at a Colorado Avalanche game, a Def Leppard concert, watching Star Wars, or hanging out with my cats and family.
